Week 20. Courage

Courage: mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear or difficulty.

Living a courageous life is one of the best ways to find success in business and in life. Courage is important because it allows us to act in a way that responds to risk appropriately. Not over-confidently or in a cowardly way. So how do we conquer fear?

  • Embrace vulnerability
  • Admit you have fears
  • Face your fears
  • Think positively
  • Reduce your stress
  • Demonstrate courage
  • Know failure but press forward
  • Cope with risk and uncertainty
  • Continue to learn
  • Accept your Challenges

‘Upon what does the conditions with which we meet depend? Upon the quality of our thought. Because what we do depends on what we are and what we are depends on what we think’ Charles F Haanel.

I love this because I’ve been addressing my courage recently and just 2 days ago affirmed that attention to what other people think or say or do , whether good or bad, is not going to be given priority in my life, because it had the possibility of robbing one of courage.
